Version comparison

Compare the workflows you rely on

Moving to Solar Fire X involves both evaluating the product and planning for your saved work. Compare the tools relevant to your practice, then check each type of file and setting you want to carry forward.

Begin with the familiar chart workflow

Chart calculation, related charts, configurable wheels and analytical reports remain the starting points for evaluation. A familiar feature name does not establish complete parity across every option or output.

Identify the calculations and settings you use most often and compare representative results.

Examine the X workspace

Review the dedicated Symmetry workflow, Solar Maps integration and current report-output paths. Evaluate the particular controls and outputs that matter to you, rather than assuming every inherited feature is new in X.

Plan saved-work transfer by file type

Chart files, preferences, wheel designs, page layouts, personal atlas entries and interpretation edits may have different transfer requirements. Keep a backup and confirm the path for each kind of material before migration.

Test representative charts and custom layouts before relying on the transferred collection in your regular work.

Confirm platform and purchase details

Check the supported operating system and processor for the release you intend to use. Ask Astrolabe about upgrade eligibility, platform entitlement and current availability for your licence.
